Hello, l’m Yeva, and today I’ll be presenting the project I’ve been working on. Since October, we’ve been working on a project with our grammar elective subject group.

We had chosen interesting words and phrases from the book «The Mysterious World of Words» and studied their etymology and meaning. It was very interesting and funny. Thanks to this project, we understood the meaning of different words and expressions and learned how to use them correctly. For example, I was exploring the concept of. «Time flows.» I had heard this expression many times before, but I had never considered that it might actually be connected to the flow of water. The Greeks and Chinese measured time with water clocks. Thanks to a mechanism created by the philosopher Plato, it even became an alarm clock.

In February, we presented our project at the high school. It was an informative, eye-opening and educational project that I enjoyed very much.
