At school we study a lot of compulsory subjects which give us a lot of interesting and necessary knowledge which we will need in the future.

But elective subjects are special because we choose them according to our interests. At our school choosing elective subjects is an important part of our school life because they can also help the students develop useful skills. My elective subjects are Anatomy and Armenian Grammar. In the future I want to become an actress. My elective subjects aren’t directly connected with my future profession, but they are still very important. Anatomy helps me understand how human body works. An actress uses body language and facial expressions to show feelings and character so this knowledge can be helpful. Armenian Grammar helps me speak and write correctly. This is also important for an actress, because clean speech is needed while performing and reading scripts.

Coming to the conclusion, I would like to say that even though my elective subjects are not directly connected with my future profession, they are still useful. They help me improve my communication and body skills which are important for becoming a successful actress.
